About the role

Job summary

The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving growth and enhancing profit margins within assigned accounts in the Food and Beverage sector across Denmark and Benelux. This role involves establishing professional relationships with key customer personnel and requires a strong focus on problem-solving and value creation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, food technology, or a related science field
  • Knowledge of the Food and Beverages market
  • Proven track record in sales, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in the Filtration or food industry is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions with customers to identify pain points and develop long-term solutions
  • Build comprehensive knowledge of customer processes and growth plans to inform commercial strategy
  • Maintain an accurate sales funnel in CRM (Salesforce-SFDC), updating opportunities and financial details regularly
  • Participate in funnel reviews, presenting opportunity health and forecasts
  • Achieve annual sales and revenue targets through existing and new business development
  • Manage the sales process from qualification to closure, ensuring timely follow-up on proposals and requests

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and market trends
  • Proficient in using CRM tools for sales management

Education

  • Relevant degree in engineering, food technology, or a related field

Tools

Travel Requirements

  • CRM software (Salesforce-SFDC)
  • Standard office software for documentation and communication
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including 2-3 overnight trips per week. A clean driving license is required.
