Security Systems Specialist (Remote, Global)

Job summary

We are looking for a Security Systems Specialist to manage the lifecycle and compliance of security systems within the Security & Business Continuity Department. This role involves project management, ensuring system performance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain secure and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing enterprise security systems or computerized systems in regulated environments, including project management.
• Proven experience in integration and change/configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with maintaining validated systems and ensuring audit readiness.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale projects, coordinating with other system and package owners.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and partners.
• Align business and compliance needs with documented requirements and manage controlled releases.
• Ensure system health and readiness for audits through regular updates and reviews.
• Maintain system lifecycle plans, budgets, and architecture.
• Manage contracts and support daily security operations.

Skills

• Knowledge of servers, networking, identity/access management, and system monitoring.
• Experience with Windows Server Software, virtualization, and database technologies.
• Ability to create and review architecture diagrams and dataflows; familiarity with scripting/automation is advantageous.
• Experience with security systems like Lenel and Avigilon is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with security systems, project management tools, and compliance documentation.
