Senior Manufacturing IT/OT Specialist (Remote, Global)

Job summary

This role involves shaping the future of digital manufacturing by transforming manufacturing processes through a standardized global setup. The position is part of a Digitalization team that operates at the intersection of manufacturing, IT, and emerging technologies, focusing on OT infrastructure and global systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in manufacturing IT or Operational Technology (OT).
• Understanding of the complete technology stack from machine level to enterprise systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with regulated environments, cyber security, or the IEC62443 standard is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of selected applications.
• Drive continuous improvements in OT architecture.
• Manage the lifecycle of applications and infrastructure.
• Provide 3rd level support for operational technologies.

Skills

• Strong passion for manufacturing and technology.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
• Experience with technologies such as Octoplant, Nozomi, and MQTT broker solutions.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, manufacturing, or a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with global manufacturing execution systems and network monitoring tools.
