Job summary

The Senior Sales Manager is tasked with developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, focusing on expanding business in new markets and customer segments. This role involves collaborating across various organizational levels to drive revenue growth and establish strong relationships with enterprise clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the technology sector.
  • 3-7 years of direct sales experience in selling server and storage solutions to enterprise and Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse disciplines and cultures.
  • Established track record of building relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Proficient in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time management.
  • Experience in tracking and reporting lead activity.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and sell a comprehensive portfolio of products and services to large enterprise clients.
  • Build personal credibility as a trusted advisor to key client executives.
  • Research and understand clients' industries and business strategies.
  • Shape deals early in the sales cycle to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Align company capabilities with client IT priorities and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and execute an Account Business Plan (ABP) to enhance market presence.
  • Drive ABP results through effective account management.
  • Identify and close new solution opportunities to increase market share and revenue.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Qualify and close complex deals involving multiple business units.
  • Engage with decision-makers at all levels, including C-suite executives.

Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales processes and account strategies.
  • Proficient in data tracking and reporting for sales activities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
