Solutions Architect (Data, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves guiding enterprises in their data journey by building and implementing data platforms. The position focuses on post-sales support, helping customers maximize their use of the data platform through various engagement models.

Qualifications

• Strong background in building data platforms and understanding the data landscape.
• Experience in data warehousing, data engineering, data science, or analytics.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and discoverability concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to design and implement data solutions tailored to their needs.
• Assist in the migration of data to the platform and provide ongoing support.
• Analyze customer progress and offer guidance on advanced use cases.
• Work alongside customers' engineering teams and partner networks to ensure successful implementations.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and team collaboration through various channels.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python, Java, Scala, and Spark is a plus.
• Understanding of DataOps and DevOps principles for data teams.

Education

• Relevant experience in data architecture or a related field is required.

Tools

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data management tools.
