Job summary

This position offers a unique opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic biotechnology research environment in Copenhagen. The role involves supporting various stages of the research workflow and performing essential laboratory tasks.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or starting a Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field at a Danish university.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a large sample bank, including compound registration.
  • Prepare stock solutions, buffers, HPLC solvents, and aliquots.
  • Handle shipments, including order fulfillment and preparation of shipping materials and documents.
  • Manage packages containing dry ice and coordinate with delivery services.
  • Assist with daily laboratory tasks and occasionally support reception duties.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in following laboratory protocols.
  • Excellent time-management abilities.
  • Strong work ethic and ownership of tasks.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a Danish university is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures is preferred.
