DEI & People Operations Intern (Hospitality, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) to gain hands-on experience in HR and people operations within the hospitality sector. The role involves supporting DEI initiatives and day-to-day HR activities, contributing to an inclusive culture while engaging in various operational tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Serviceøkonom/Service Management or a related field
• Strong interest in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
• Excellent written communication skills and a natural storytelling ability
• Proficient in design tools such as Canva
• Structured, proactive, and eager to learn
• Ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships
• Fluent in English; knowledge of any Scandinavian language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and facilitating internal events like Mental Health Week and CPH Pride
• Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and contribute to DEI initiatives
• Work with DEI data and reporting to track progress
• Create engaging employee stories for internal and external communications
• Support social media activities with creative content
• Assist with daily HR and administrative tasks and support process improvements
• Collaborate with department heads to promote career opportunities
