Job summary

The Time & Attendance Specialist is responsible for managing Time & Attendance activities for external employees and clients, ensuring legal compliance and a positive employee experience. This role emphasizes accuracy and efficiency in operations while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events with a focus on legal compliance and HR support across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, conflict management, and negotiation skills, capable of leading difficult conversations professionally.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for process innovation and automation, with a focus on best practices.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in asynchronous collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment, managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance, advising on employment law changes and managing employee lifecycle matters.
  • Act as a case manager for leave and working hours issues, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support HR and financial audits, managing critical initiatives affecting employees across various countries.
  • Develop and update internal documentation related to Time & Attendance based on legislative changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the employee lifecycle experience.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in communication, documentation, and project management tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and its applications in operations and automation.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, G-suite, and other project management tools.
